Take a look inside our brand new purpose built workshop, we completed our move into our new space opposite the Thornbridge brewery taproom on Riverside business park, Bakewell at the end of March 2025, which has been our home for 17 years. We also offer a small trade counter selling a small selection of general Joinery hardware, glazing and double glazed units. We are also the official ‘From the Anvil’ retailer for the area and can supply any product within 72 hours.

We can make all types of door and frame to match your requirements. From Idigbo, Oak finished with UV protection Osmo oil, or hardwood primed and undercoated ready for a paint finish, we can cater for all requirements and give advice on the most suitable ironworks and locks to go with it. From a feature ‘raised and fielded’ panelled front entrance door to a boarded panelled back door, to a stable type door we can manufacture whatever is required.
We specialise in making traditional flush casement windows but can also make all other types of window ranging from more modern storm-proof windows to traditional sliding sash and fixed pane windows. We can use either hardwood or softwood and can finish in a range of stains, oils or paint. All windows can be made using double or single glazing.
Whether you are in need of a full fitted kitchen, bedroom wardrobes, a TV console unit or just a single cupboard to make use of an awkward space, we can make everything to fit your space exactly. We specialise in producing European oak shaker style doors with a durable Osmo oil (natural) finish and also solid tulip wood doors (paint finish) if preferable.
We can manufacture and fit any type of gate and in any material and finish you require. Please take a look at just a few of the different types of gate we have previously manufactured and fitted.
As well as our manufacturing workshop we can also carry out any site joinery you require such as internal doors, skirtings and architraves, hardwood and softwood flooring, roofs and stud walls.
